About the Event
Cape Noon Optimist's Annual Chili Day takes place in the A.C. Brase Arena Building in Arena Park in Cape Girardeau. There will be live music during lunch and supper. Juried members of Best of Missouri Hands and local artists, Aaron Horrell and Barb Bailey, will have one of the 15 panels at the Chili Day. While you wait in line for your chili meal, take a few minutes to paint a triangle on this historic Missouri birthday present. It's very easy, Aaron and/or Barb will put paint on the brush and show each person where to paint. Five panels are finished, one is almost finished, and there are 10 more to complete. Anyone, any age, any ability can paint. It's easy and free to paint on the Bicentennial Mural.
