MO 2021 Mural at SEMO District Fair
Time & Location
About the Event
One or two panels of the Missouri Bicentennial Paint For a Cause mural will be at the SEMO District Fair, inside the Arena Building in front of the state. Anyone, any age, and any ability can paint a triangle space on this mural. Juried Best of Missouri Hands artists Aaron Horrell and Barb Bailey will put paint on the brush and show each person where to paint. Aaron and Barb are taking these panels around Missouri to have as many people as possible participate. When completed, all 15 panels will be put together and measure an impressive 12 feet by 30 feet. The finished mural will hang in the Truman Building in Jefferson City, MO for people to see for generations to come. This is an historic project, originating from Cape Girardeau and has never been done before. Won't you be a part of history and shine a spotlight on Cape Girardeau?
