About the Event

Be a part of Missouri's Bicentennial celebration. Come paint one triangle on the Missouri Bicentennial Mural, January 31 - February 1, 2020 in Poplar Bluff, MO.

Juried Best of Missouri Hands artists Aaron Horrell and Barb Bailey will put paint on the brush and direct each person where to paint. There are a total of 15 panels, each measuring 4 feet by 6 feet. When completed, the mural will measure 12 feet tall and 30 feet long and is to hang in the Truman Building.

Images on the mural depict 18 of Missouri's state symbols plus the Capitol Building and the St. Louis Gateway Arch. To date, four of the 15 panels are finished and over 8,300 people around Missouri have painted. It's easy and fun! Anyone and everyone can particpate.

We offer commemorative buttons for $2 each. We also have a FB Page: Missouri Bicentennial Paint For A Cause
