About the Event
The Missouri Bicentennial Paint For a Cause will be set up at Joplin, MO's Arts Fest on Friday, September 20 from 6 - 10 p.m. and Saturday, September 21 from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. Everyone is welcome to stop by our booth and paint 1 2-inch triangle on one of the 15 panels that will make up the 12 ft. Anyone, any age, and any ability is encouraged to participate, be a part of Missouri's 200th birthday celebration. We are also keeping a journal with the names, ages, jobs, and towns of everyone who paints. When all the panels have been painted, they will be assembled and hang on a wall in the Truman Building in Jefferson City.
